Our Mission

Costa Rica Volunteering was founded to bridge the gap between passionate individuals and established conservation projects that need support. We believe in transparent partnerships, community-led initiatives, and creating meaningful connections between global supporters and local change-makers.

Our Role: We handle volunteer recruitment, international marketing, and donation processing so established projects can focus on their core conservation work.

Our Partnership with Ostional

We operate with formal permission from the Ostional Wildlife Refuge management.

While we facilitate volunteer placement and funding, all conservation activities are directed by the official Ostional refuge staff and local experts.

Many established conservation projects lack the resources for international volunteer coordination and fundraising. We fill that gap professionally.

Expedition Leader vs. International Agency

Unlike international volunteer agencies with huge markups, Costa Rica Volunteering is the premier wildlife expedition facilitator in Guanacaste. We are not a corporate intermediary—we secure your official National Wildlife Refuge permits and manage your entire conservation experience on the ground.
